We are using Jira server with JSU plug-in. We want to know if we change to Data Center version, can the automation for Jira function replace all functionalities of JSU plug-in. Please help to evaluate. Thank you.

No, the Automation for Jira feature cannot be used to replace all the functionality available from the JSU plug-in.
The Automation for Jira function cannot be used directly within workflows to create Conditions or Validators.
It can be used to replicate some Post Functions.

As @Trudy P Claspill mentions, no this is not possible as the JSU app offers functionality that automation doesn't offer.
All option related to conditions and validators can't be replicated.
There are other apps that can be used to replace JSU, like JMWE or Jira Workflow Toolbox.

Thanks for the information! Since u said it can not 'be used directly within workflows', then what is the 'indircet' way of using it for workflows or isn't there any possibility for it to replace JSU in that specific case of workflows?
