You can't create issues for this project

Hello There,

One of my team member is not able to create an issue for a specific project. It's showing, "You can't create issue for this project" and I created a new permission scheme and I have given all the required permissions but still it's showing the same thing.

Please let me know the solution for this..

You say you created a new permission scheme, but you do not say if you applied it to the project. Can you confirm you have associated a scheme with the project that allows your user "create" permissions?

Yes I have created a new permission scheme and I applied to the project and I allowed them to create issues but still its not allowing my user to create issue.

Ok, that, combined with the error message you gave in your question, leads me to think that one of your admins has created a validator in the workflow on the "create issue" transition, and the validator is rejecting the attempt to create.

If it were permissions, your user would not be getting an error message - they would be unable to select the project to create issues on the start screen, and the "create" links in other places would fail. They would get the message if they were trying to create the issue via REST, which can't make the create options vanish.

There's another test based on that behaviour - get the user to click "create" in the top bar in the UI. On the screen that appears, do they get offered the project they are trying to create the issue in, in the drop-down list of projects? If they do, then it's a validator. If they do not, then there is still something wrong with the create issue permission for them.

Is your permission role based? You will have to add the user to the respective Roles. Go to Project Settings -> People. Add your user to the appropriate role. Maybe your permissions is role based and your groups are mapped to a particular role, then you will have to add the user to that particular group.

Yes it's a role based permission and it's doesn't have groups. It's a single project and role based permission.

Check the project in question, Project settings -> Permissions. Check the create issues permission, Check the Roles, then from your Project Settings -> People, Add the user to that particular Role.
