How to create a filter that shows all the backlog items (child-of) of a user story?

I have a board where there are multiple backlog items that have been linked to different user stories.

I used the "child-of" linking method between the backlog items and the user stories.

Which quick filter can I use that will list all the linked items of a specific user story?

I tried the following already:

linkedIssues(Issuekey)
key=Issuekey, linkType=child
project = ProjectName AND Feature Link in (Issuekey)

But nothing works.

Could someone please help me out?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Are the issues that you want to display already displayed within the board? If those items are not within the scope of the board's filter then using a Quick Filter will not pull them in. Quick Filters are used to reduce what is displayed to a subset of what is within the scope of the board's filter.

Are you working with Jira Cloud or Jira Server/Data Center?

When you are trying to use the filters you listed, are you putting an explicit issue key in where you have shown "issuekey"?

Thank you for the quick reaction!

I use Jira Server, and the items are visible on the board, I just want to filter them based on the user story they are linked to. I have 5 user stories and I'd like to get an overview of the status of backlog items/tasks that are linked to one specific user story.

I use an explicit issue key, like XYZ-01 (I use the real issue key in the search).

I'm grateful for any tips you could suggest.

If these represent the full JQL you have put into the Quick Filter (substituting a real issue key), then neither is correct syntax.

linkedIssues(Issuekey)
key=Issuekey, linkType=child

You can test your syntax by by trying to use it in the "Search for issues" screen available from the Issues menu.

For the first one your syntax in the Quick Filter needs to be:

issue in linkedIssues(ABC-123)

If the issue has linked issues with various link types and you want only the child-of linked issues then the syntax needs to be:

issue in linkedIssues(ABC-123,"is duplicated by")

...replacing "is duplicated by" with the correct name of the child-of link type.
