We have two user groups in JIRA - internal employees and customer.
Customer have less rights than employees.
- Customer have only the global permission "Browse user" - no more global permissions are assigned. (So they don't have the permission Create Shared Objects)
- Employess have all global permission but for JIRA-Administrator.
We don't want that the customer can create Agile Boards.
We want that only somebody can create an Agile Board who has special permission to do this (like he is project lead, or he gets a special permission).
Questions:
- What can we do that the customer cannot create Boards? (Maybe hide the button and if yes, how?)
- Is there an option to give the option to create new boards only for special user (maybe about some permissions in the permission scheme)?
- Or does this mean that by default every user who has access to a project can create an own board for such project? (This makes no sense for us.)
