Repository size 4gb Exceeds, need cleanup 'git gc' at server end

Question

Dear Team,

Repository size 4b is already exceeded. Ran the below command to do the cleanup and push but it failed since it's no longer allowed to take any changes.

Could you please help me clean up the repository at the server end to bring down the repository's overall size?

Or let me know if you want me to execute anything to get this resolved.

Currently, I am able to commit my changes so for sure repository size might have come down. Will check with admin and confirm.

Need your guidance to maintain repository size to not grow more than 4 GB
