Approvals are reset when the source branch is modified

We have bought premium and ticked "Approvals are reset when the source branch is modified". However, on further commits to the pull request, approvals are not being reset. We have tried this several times, and nothing is happening. Is there something else we should be doing or is there a problem with this function?

We need to review your whole workflow and PR further to understand why it was not being reset. So I have proceeded to raise a support ticket to continue the investigation.
