WTF is going on?`account hacked?

Suddenly bitbucket incorrectly shows my workspace ID as "wothker" - when it should be "wothke". I cannot reset the ID to the correct "wothke" since that id "is not available"...

With the incorrect workspace ID I can obviously no longer see any of my projects/workspaces (nor create new projects in the correct workspace).

WTF is going on? The atlassian support page also seems to be down and I am only getting an error message every time I try to send a message. Has Bitbucket been hacked?

Is there a way to find out which moron hijacked my workspace, i.e. which account my workspace now supposedly belongs to?

I do have a 2nd account but that one uses the workspace UD "jwothke".. none of my two accounts refer to my "wothke" workspace ID anymore!

And why would that corrupt my existing workspace ID? And more importantly - how do I restore original correct workspace ID?

Yep, I've got about 40 Atlassian accounts and although I usually only use two very distinct ones, I do get mixed up on the others, often using the wrong one to try to access systems, and I've mistakenly created some of them when trying to use a slightly different one.

You're going to need to look at exactly what account you are using. Start by logging out, and then logging into id.atlassian.com to check all the details. Probably the best thing to look at is the email address - Atlassian accounts do not allow for duplicates, but they do not treat aliases or adjuncts as duplicates (I say "adjuncts" because I don't know what they're really called, but with gmail and some other services, you can have an address like bob@gmail, but sending mail to bob+alice@gmail will land the mail in bob's inbox)

If you are definitely using your original account there, then the next most likely thing is that another admin has made changes to your access or structure of the system.

damn, you are right.. it was all my fault. the correct account used a 3rd email address that my browser apparently had not remembered the login for... the "wothker" workspace belonged to an unused account that I must have inadvertedly created at some point when I tried to login using a wrong email address..
