Cannot get access to one of our JIRA boards

Question

We are getting an error message on one of our boards - somethings gone wrong. Our team have been notified. If this problem persists, please contact Atlassian Support.

2 of our other boards are accessible fine, but this one will not load and has been down now for 3 days. How do we fix this issue?

I don't appear to have permissions to raise a support request.

Hi @Knowles S (Sarah) ,

You can get in touch with your Jira Administrator (or site-admin), to view all the Boards available in the site via this link https://<site-name>.atlassian.net/jira/boards.

The reason you may not see if the boards maybe one of the below:

* You don't have permission to browse that project's tickets/boards. Note, this applied to the Site-admin as well, they cannot access projects where the permission scheme is configured to keep it limited to few users.
* Private filter used in that Board which might make the board private as well (as per : https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/As-JIRA-admin-how-do-I-get-a-list-of-ALL-boards/qaq-p/932240#M333590)

If your site-admin cannot access the board too, then as @Trudy P Claspill mentioned, please ask them to raise a ticket with Atlassian Support to check at their end.

Welcome to the community.

You tagged your post as "server". Can you clarify are you using Jira Cloud or Jira Server/Data Center? If your Jira URL is like the following then you are using Jira Cloud

https://<something>.atlassian.net

Otherwise you are using Jira Server or Data Center.

Your Jira Administrators are the people who will have permission to raise support requests with Atlassian.

Are you the board admin? Are you able to get to the configure option of the board and look at the board filter, swimlane , timezone configurations?
