Xray backup restore

Question

We are using Jira Cloud and installed the Xray app for Test Managment. Jira Cloud provides the capability to backup Xray data (Jira Cloud backup doesn't contain all Test Managment data in Jira backups, but we are backing up Xray using the "Backup and Storage" menu in Jira Cloud under Settings -> Apps -> Xray -> Backup and Storage) and we would like to restore the Xray data to Jira Cloud.

Is there a way to restore the Xray backup data (multiple JSON files, such as archivedTestRuns, issueHistory, parameterValueLists, projectSettings, settings, testExecutions, testPlans, testRepository, testRunActivity, testRuns, tests, testSets)?

Hi Mateusz,I had a look at your tool and find it very interesting.How did you find out the JSON structure the Xray testcase importer uses? Is there a documentation or did you just guess? I developed a tool that reads test cases and preconditions one by one with the GraphQL API and copies it to another Jira project. I have a running solution (but forgot about attachments). Your approach looks more straightforward, though ;-)
