Automated Email Notifications for new page creations on Confluence

Hi, I am trying to set up an automation that will send me an email when a new page is published under a specific parent page.

In the parent page, it contains a create from template button to create a form, the template has been labelled (intake-requests).

The automation I currently set up looks like this:

Automation error.png However, I am not getting any notifications and not sure if there is a different way to approach this automation to set it up for the specific parent page.

Somebody else came up with a fix since the CQL IF Condition appears to be broken:

Instead use a Smart Value in Advanced compare condition:

Hi!

My first thought is that maybe the label is being added AFTER the page is initially published. So when it tries to check the CQL condition it's evaluating to false.

The audit log should be able to give you some indication as to what is happening, so maybe check there for any errors/messages (or if it's even triggering at all).

A friend informed me about this open bug, which um, is still unresolved.

AUTO-699 - Using CQL in "If / else block" conditions doesn't always work

So... that's fun.

My recommendation would be to file a Support ticket, and then add it to that bug.
