I can't clone my Bitbucket repository in VS Code

Question

I'm using the official extension for Visual Studio from Atlassian. I do Login to Bitbucket cloud and it works, then I go back to VS Code.

Then, from my repository, I click Clone in VS Code

But I obtain always the next error:

I don't know where to check this log. Don't know what else I can do.

Any ideas? I have VS Code Version: 1.78.2 for MAC. I have uninstalled and installed everything twice.

This issue is because git is not installed in you computer go to the command pallet and type Developer: Open Extensions Logs Folder. Then you will see

open the vscode.git folder and you will see the error. Then you can install git  then try to clone it again.

Note that the error occurs in an extension (I guess), therefore you need to check the logs written by the extensions!
