How do create spaces in description of my jira create_issue request?

Mont_8hwp75

Hello All,

I have the field below that I am passing into jira_client.create_issue(fields=issue_dict)

Everything works ok but I am trying to include more data in the jira stories thierself and I cannot figure out how to create a space or pass of something like a key value pair that will display in the description of the ticket.

I get an 400 Client Error whenever I try to experiment around and see what solutions work.

For example.

In the description I want

Class: Class

Date: Time and date

Amount of users: number of users

How can I achieve this solution by adding this to the description in python?

issue_dict = {

"project": {

"id": '<number>'

},

"summary": "test components",

"description": "New issue",

"reporter": {"name": "id"},

"issuetype": {"name": "SDLC Story"},

"priority": {

"name": "Critical"

}}

Spaces are a Confluence thing, so I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to accomplish?
