Automation Assets rule: can I get an attribute of an objet that is already an attribute and copy it

In JSM Data Center 5.4.3

OK bear with me.

I have object types for my Models that will be use with my inventory
I have inventory objects that use a Model object attribute
I would like to make an asset automation that would allow me to get the state of my model (inventory attribute) and copy it in another attribute. Is this possible?

 

Exemple:

objectType: Laptop-model

• attributes:
  • Name: HP 1234
  • Status: Active

objectType: Laptop

• attributes:
  • Name: PPF789
  • Status: In service
  • Model: HP 1234
  • Model Status: Active

Is there any way to use asset automation for this ?

 

I tried this in Asset Automation :

• Action: attribute value
• Attribute name: Model Status
• Value: ${"Modele"."Status"} or ${Modele.Status}

 

I does not work. 

Can it work?
