Cannot add/change Categories on List view.

Question

Even thought the list view provide a column for adding a category, and I can actually add several categories, when I try to assign on to the cell in the column, the page seems to quickly refresh and remove the selected category.

Why can I not insert a category for the list?

Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project? That information will display at the bottom of the panel on the left.

Are you working with a Software project or a Business/Work Management project? If you look at the top of the panel on the left you should see the project name. If it is a Software project then directly below the project name it will say "Software Project".

If it says "Software Project" there then you are not experiencing the same problem as the person who posted the original question. That user was working with a Business/Work Management project.

Working with my team yesterday, turns out we did make some key form changes that may have actually fixed this in 2 places.

* Added the category field to the CREATE form.
* Added the category field to the ISSUE DETAIL form.

After a little while, we were entering categories freely.

If this does NOT work for anyone, let us know.
