Integration between Jira on cloud and Jira Data Center

Antonello Storelli

Hi Guys!

This is my first post in this community and I was looking for some documentations on how to integrate Jira Data Center and Jira on cloud, is it possible?

We are not looking for migration information but integration between 2 different solutions of Jira.

Thanks,

Antonello

Hi @Antonello Storelli welcome to the Atlassian Community

Without knowing much about your requirements, the information we can provide to support is quite limited.

Have you had a look at this article?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/integrate-jira-cloud-with-jira-server-1101925704.html

It describes available integrations between Jira Cloud and Jira Server.

If you can share a bit more information as to what you're trying to achieve I may be able to find something more specific.

Kind Regards,

Ash

Hi @Ash Yadav , thank you for your welcome

I am looking for the possibility of sync Epics or Stories and so on between those Jira versions and, form the link that you shared with me, it seems not possible, right?

Thanks,

Antonello

Hi @Antonello Storelli ,

I don't believe there is a solution for this out of the box, however I did stumble across this thread that asked something quite similar:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Sync-projects-between-2-jira-clouds/qaq-p/2140281

It appears to be a 3rd party app: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213645/exalate-jira-issue-sync-more?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

To clarify, I'm not affiliated with them in any way but it does appear to be along the lines of what you're looking for.

Kind Regards,

Ash

Thanks a lot, I will check it

@Antonello Storelli hi! To add to the list of options - check out ZigiOps. It's a fully no-code connector that can easily be customized, connects systems bi-directionally, syncs them, and keeps them up to date in real-time. There are a variety of data you can transfer and sync between your Jira instances (Jira Data Center and Jira on cloud). None of your data is stored - so it's completely secure. Give ZigiOps a look, it might be useful.

Feel free to look at it and if you want to see how it works, you can always secure a meeting with our team.

Regards, Diana (ZigiOps team)

Thanks @Diana_Architect_ZigiWave I will check it too

Hi @Antonello Storelli

This is Majid @ Exalate.

This should be very possible by using a synchronization solution such as Exalate. You can customize all aspects of this integration and maintain full agile sync on both ends.

Please give us a shout out if you are interested in learning more.

Thanks

Majid
