Creating and deleting a new workspace deleted my account?

Hello!

I'm a professor and use the account "chato" on bitbucket.org under the academic program, the workspace of my research group is:

https://bitbucket.org/cp_wssc/

I created a new workspace, then deleted it, but got locked out of my account. Has the same ever happened to you? Now when I try to login, it asks me to create a new username!

Thank you for reaching out.

I created a support ticket for you using the email of your community account, so we can investigate this further.

You should have received an email with a link to the support ticket. Just in case you haven't, please feel free to let me know and I can post the ticket URL here. No one other than you and Atlassian can view the ticket's content, even if they have the URL.

It seems the same happened to another user yesterday, who created a workspace, deleted it, and then got his account deleted.
