Hi

I have such an issue. 

On transition "Resolved" I have couple of validators to validate if some custom fields are completed. I'd like to set a condition on that validation so JIRA will not require filling these custom fields when the Resolution Reason is set to "Duplicate".

I want to set Resolution to Duplicate without completing all necessary fields set on transition validation.

Would you have any suggestions how I could do it?

Hey @Małgorzata Adamska-Piotrowska ,

Just from the top fo my head, it might be easiest if you add a new transition to Resoled where you just don't put those validators and set a postfunction to automatically set the Resolution to Duplicate.

This way there will be 2 transitions and if something is duplicate they can just use the 2nd "duplicate" transition.
