How do I choose which workflow shows in Board view on Work Management?

Hi Community,

I have a company managed work management project that has 4 issue types associated with it. Three of those issue types follow one workflow while the 4th has its own workflow. The two workflows are different. Currently, only one workflow shows. I cannot seem to find where I can display the other workflow on the Board view. I see that there is a More option, then workflows, but only the first workflow shows.

I have verified that the workflow scheme has both workflows in it with the correct issue types assigned. If I remove the workflow that shows all the time from the scheme, the other workflow takes over on the board. But once the workflow is added back, the board shows that original workflow and not the second one. Workflow Scheme.png Workflow under More.png

Multiple workflows on your board

If your business project contains multiple issue types with different workflows, you can easily select which workflow to view on your board.

To view a particular issue type’s workflow, you can:

Select More at the top right of the board view
Select Workflows
Choose which issue type’s workflow you’d like to view.

You’ll only be able to view statuses and transitions associated with the selected workflow on the board.

I thought it was that easy, but looking at the second screenshot, there is only one workflow showing up. I do not have the option to select the other workflow that is in that scheme.

Your Test Case Results Workflow has a sub-task issue type associated with it. Let me check if that actually works on a JWM Board.

Pretty sure that Sub-tasks are not show directly on the board as individual cards. The show as a field on the parent card on the board. So if a workflow ONLY has a sub-task issue type associated with it, it's probably not going to be able to show that.

You should probably open a support ticket with Atlassian to get clarification/work around.

Is it possible to showcase all issue types at once? I have 3 different issue types and each issue type has a different workflow. Can I showcase all the 3 workflows on a single board at once?
