How to change the code snippet for checking out a branch

Is there a way to change the default code snippet that's provided for checking out a  new branch?

i.e. I want to add `git fetch && git checkout <branch-name>` rather than just `git checkout <branch-name>`

Is there any particular reason or use case why you need git fetch in the URL? 

I ask because the URL is currently not editable, so if you can provide me with the reason or use case, I can create a feature request on your behalf.
