We are utilizing Advanced Roadmaps to visualize a project structure where the following issues are in place:
- Initiative (the project itself)
- Epics (stages or phases of the project)
- Tasks (tasks within each stage or phase)
- Sub-tasks (sub-tasks within each task)
- Epics (stages or phases of the project)
- Tasks (tasks within each stage or phase)
- Sub-tasks (sub-tasks within each task)
- Epics (stages or phases of the project)
- Tasks (tasks within each stage or phase)
- Sub-tasks (sub-tasks within each task)
We are running into an issue and experiencing a lot of manual work when a task in a phase is delayed. When this happens, the dates are pushed out on the task (start date / due date where applicable), but then our PMs have to do the same for each successive task / sub-task, phase, and so on, due to the one delayed task...
Is there a way to automatically move all successive tasks out based on a move of one of the prior tasks?
Any guidance or suggestions on how this has been accomplished are greatly appreciated!
