Error on Transition of a task in JIRA

Hi All,

 

I am getting below error when I transition a JIRA task from "In progress" to "Closed Status". 

Could you please help me understand the reason for this. I am new to JIRA.

 

com.atlassian.jira.transaction.TransactionRuntimeException: org.ofbiz.core.entity.GenericTransactionException: Commit failed, rollback previously requested by nested transaction.

 

It was working till yesterday and I was able to close multiple tasks but giving an error for only one task today.

I'm afraid the word "generic" in there is pretty accurate.  This is an error message that occurs when the code isn't coping with what has actually gone wrong, but it can also be wrapped around more useful errors.

Can you find this error in the application log ( <Jira-home>/logs/atlassian-jira.log ) and look for the errors that caused it?  They'll be immediately beneath it, and they should point to a class or function that is failing for some reason.
