How is our Bitbucket Cloud contents protected against Ransomware?

I am working on a ransomware mitigation project for an organisation

My questions are around: What assurance is there for protection against Ransomware?

 

-  If a user managed a MITM attack and went in and deleted everything. Can they request to delete backups and Archives as well? What would be their challenges?

- Are there any other threads regarding Ransomware and bitbucket Cloud?

- Who is responsible for backing up our Bitbucket data? Are there T&C's to show this?

So one of the reasons for using a service such as Cloud is that all of that becomes someone else's problem - the provider of the service is responsible, and you should not have to worry about it.

See https://www.atlassian.com/trust/security for the basics!  I'd start with the "disaster recovery" section to see what Atlassian would do to recover from malware attacks, but the rest of it is probably stuff that you'll want to skim to answer the rest of your questions.
