Time tracking automatically calculated based on the current calendar days

Hello everyone!

I am using Jira + BigPicture (non enterprise).
I would like the task progress percentage (time spent) -and consequently the remaining estimate- to be automatically updated according to the current calendar date.
would this be possible?
