When you try to push to the remote repository, you get an error:

Can you update the class notes as to how to do this now that Bitbucket Cloud stopped supporting account passwords?

Hi @Steve G,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Since Atlassian has revoked the usage of basic passwords in order to increase the security of accounts in general, Git operations can still be made through HTTPS protocols using App Passwords.

You can find the detailed steps on how to create one in the documentation linked above. Once you create one, just use it as you would with your basic password for authentication with Git.

Alternatively, you can also switch to SSH protocols. The detailed steps on how to set up an SSH key can be found in the following documentation:
