BitBucket Encryption

Question

I read the post about BitBucket being encrypted https://bitbucket.org/blog/bitbucket-cloud-is-encrypted-at-rest.

Is this disk level encryption?

Ben · Answer

Hi Angelo,

Outside of our blog post stating that encryption is present, what would be needed from our end?

Hi Ben,

Is there a way to show that my bitbucket repository is actually encrypted ?

Thanks

Ben · Answer

Hi Robert,

Welcome to the Bitbucket Cloud Community!

I can confirm that yes, this refers to disk-level encryption.

This can be seen when viewing our roadmap:
