History shows JIRAUSER instead of username

Question

In History tab I could see the username with JIRAUSER****, I know it is new feature, but we are exporting data from history and migrating it to DevOps tools. Since user format is changed it is difficult for us to migrate. Due to this many of work is pending. We need it like either *Adakula, Vinod (display name) or user’s email ID*.

Please help us to overcome this issue.

@Divya G I don't have any more information than is in that ticket, though I see the community page here is suggesting multiple other links on other posts.  Of course would recommend you watch and vote for the fix to both keep visibility for yourself and advocate for it.

I would hope it would get backported to the LTS releases.

Is this fixed in version Jira Server v8.22.6? or let me know which is the fix version for this issue?
