Changes on issue type icon are not visible in combobox

I changed the icon for one of the issue type in our JIRA installation, and the change is visible everywhere, except in the combo box for selecting an issue type when you are creating an issue. Here, it is still the old icon which is shown.

Any idea on how to correct this ?

Found it. Needed to restart the server.

We can't restart server after this kind of change all the time, can someone fix this bug? Why it's happening?
