Assignee based on custom field value

Question

Hi,

I have a custom field "operational support" which  is a single select and I have one more field "head engineer" which is a user picker.

when I select "service" as a value from  operational support the person who is the head engineer should be the assignee.

For remaining values no need of assignee change.

Can some one help me on this by using script.....

Thanks you for your help but we tried this code  and it is  not updating the assignee field.
