Is there any way to copy a field value from one issue to another?

Hi, we have 2 issues, B is cloned by A. We have scriptrunner listener to make the workflow status change automation. Now we want to know if we could make field value change automation happen. For example, if the story point of B is changed, A's story point will be changed automatically. If there're more than one way, please tell me all. Thank you.

That method update the whole issue based on the parameters passed into the ValidationResult (https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/8.22.1/com/atlassian/jira/bc/issue/IssueService.UpdateValidationResult.html)

Hi @Jason Liu ,

you can do that through your listener.

You need to catch ISSUE UPDATED event and, based on the link "is cloned by" retrieve the linked issue and update fields through https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/8.22.1/com/atlassian/jira/bc/issue/IssueService.html#update-com.atlassian.jira.user.ApplicationUser-com.atlassian.jira.bc.issue.IssueService.UpdateValidationResult-
