Need to create a issue based on another issue for different issue type

Hi,

Need to create a issue based on another issue for different issue type and link those issues in issue link.

For eg,

If we create a issue with Initiative type and summary CPM: "program name" then 4 issues should be created with Milestone issue type like below.

CPM: "program name" Feature Complete
CPM: "program name" Bug Free
CPM: "program name" SOP 1
CPM: "program name" SOP 2

After creation of the above 4 issues these 4 issues should be linked to issue link for Initiative issue type.

I think there is the lite version that you can try, but I cant remember if the automation I mention is possible.

Other options are using a plugin. Jmwe, scritprunner, powerscripts are some of them. Check the marketplace.

Hi @Fabian Lim , in our jira we are not using Jira Automation.

So, can you suggest alternative solution.

You can use Jira automation

Trigger: issue created

Condition: issue type initiative

Action: create tasks

Action: link to trigger issue with specific link

note: the rule must be created by the sys admin in the global administration since you are using multiple projects.
