How to set a user as a project admin?

Does a user need to be a workspace admin in order to see project settings? Or is there another way.

I feel like workspace admin is too much to give someone that just wants to access settings on a single project.

Tommy Pool, this doesn't seem like an answer to the question. Did you ever find out if a user can be given Admin capability for a bitbucket project without requiring workspace Admin?

Apologies, I am not sure that this was intended to be an answer but instead an additional comment to my OP.

I don't think that I did find the answer I was looking for.

ok, thanks. I have the same need, allow Bitbucket Project Admin without granting full workspace Admin.
