Getting error whem migrating a project using Cloud migration assistant

Hi Guys,

Need you help in fixing the below error message, i am trying to migrate a single project from jira server to jira cloud. But received the following error message. Kindly suggest.

2022-05-21 07:05:17.018800800 ERROR VY project-export Group reference could not be found. Details: Plugin permission with id - [1] has missing reference to group - [leo-jin].
2022-05-21 07:05:56.120200200 ERROR VY project-export We couldn't export Field Layout Scheme default. Reason: java.lang.NullPointerException: entity.id must not be null.

Hi @Vikrant Yadav

While researching a similar error to your first example, I found the following:

[MIG-1073] JCMA fails to export project if ARJ contains permissions with missing group - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

Not sure if it's a match for your scenario, but I thought it might be worth review.

Hi @Dave Mathijs  I just tried to migrate another project having default configuration (screen,workflow,fields configuration) no scripting, no plugin used in this project. Simple Scrum project i created and tried to migrate the project but still getting below error :-

Actually, We don't want scriptrunner in Jira cloud, we are using Project automation in place of Scripted post function and for other automation. We need JIRA issues, workflows, screen, fields of a project migrate to jira cloud.

Yes, if you have a custom script in ScriptRunner for Server (which actually is available in Cloud), re-development needs to be done for Cloud as the architecture is different. I suggest to contact Adaptavist Support for further help and assistance.
