Can we add another condition & button named"Pause" during the approval process Approve/Decline/Pause

We want to implement from our existing Workflow to have another option for an approver to be able to Pause their approval for a certain ticket while waiting for additional information coming from different group. We want an additional PAUSE button aside from the current available "Approve/Decline" button.

Is this achievable or  do we have already a way to implement this in Jira?

You can only have two transitions off of any approval, one for approve and one for denied.  You could always add an additional transition that goes to a Pause status and expose this in the portal but it would function differently than part of the approval process.
