What effect has dark feature com.atlassian.jira.config.ProjectConfig.MENU?

Hello all together,

We have got a different behaviour of Jira in our test instance and productive instance and therefore compared which dark features are enabled in both instances.

We've found out that in our test instance the feature "com.atlassian.jira.config.ProjectConfig.MENU" is enabled but not in our productive instance (for whatever reason).

I've tried to find some documentation regarding the dark features and also especially this one but I couldn't find any.

Is there anybody out there to help me?

Checking the 8.20.8 source code for Jira Data Center I found the file

jira-project/jira-components/jira-core/src/main/resources/jira-features.properties

which has that string and comment

# Enable project sidebar in projects settings

That file is about all the docs I've found for dark features, but I'd love to be wrong
