Remove & add new Issue type

Hi,

I have removed an existing BUG Issue type and added new created Issue type DEFECT to a project. This Screen scheme for which I changed the issue type is only associated to one project. Will this activity affect rest of projects?

As long as the scheme is associated to only one project you should be OK.
