Hi, i want minimaze indexing time on my jira. i cleaned all the inactive workflows and minimize custom fields. the backround indexing toke around 7 hours.

The main thing is simply volume of issues to be indexed. While removing fields is going to help a little with each issue, the whole driver is the issues. Without reducing the number of issues, there's not a huge amount you can do about the time it takes.
It's also important to put the index on the fastest local disk you can.
