HTTP Error 413 request entity too large

When I want to do an import of a project configuration file (with project configurator) I am getting the message 'HTTP Error 413 request entity too large'.

A couple of days ago, I didn't have a problem with uploading a configuration file. What causes this and how can it be resolved?
