Close ticket without notifying reporter

We have a number of 'dead' tickets that we need to close but do not want to notify the reporter?

I would like to do this ticket by ticket and not in bulk if possible.

Any ideas please?

Hi @Steve Fell

You could create a new notification scheme with limited notifications and use that temporarily while you're cleaning up the issues. Then switch back when you're done with the clean up activity.

@Steve Fell the easiest way is to use the bulk update feature in Jira and not send notifications.
