Hi,

We are using Microsoft team and JIRA server for issue creation.

We have deployed a power automate that create an issue on JIRA with API rest.

This week we have done a JIRA update from 8.5.7 to 8.20.2 and we have an issue on API.

Before the update we ware able to create a JIRA issue with some EMOJI with process (Example: 🤖).

Now, we get this error with the same JSON:

"We can't create this issue for you right now, it could be due to unsupported content you've entered into one or more of the issue fields. If this situation persists, contact your administrator as they'll be able to access more specific information in the log file."

When we remove smiley it's work fine.

Is it an API change from the last LTS version?

Is it possible to have a solution on this problem?

Most of our user put some EMOJI on their team message and it's very problematic for us.

This is usually (but not always) caused by the back-end database not supporting the encoding for your emojis.

Do you know what the encoding on your database is? Can you check in the system info page?

Hi @Mickaël ORSOLINO

Most likely it is a problem with the create transition in your workflow. Check the validators that might be from an app that didn't get upgraded properly after the upgrade. You can test by removing those validators and publishing the workflow.
