Story needs to be update automatically when subtask is updated

HI Community!!

I've got a scenario where I have to move issue from todo/open to In Progress status when it's first sub-task moves to In Progress!!!!

EX: Task (Todo - InProgress) should move automatically when I change Subtask(Todo - Inprogress). How do we accomplish this!! Thanks in advance!!!

Hi @Ganesh ,

With the default functionality of Jira I think this is not possible (maybe with automation for jira).

But when you have de app JSU then you have the workflow postfunction "Linked Transition (JSU)". Triggers a transition on related issues (as issue link, Parent/Sub-Task, Epic/issues in Epic or found by JQL).
