Close Jira Issue via REST API

Rohit Bankoti

I am trying POST API to close issue ticket but getting this error :  You might not have permission, or the issue is missing required information

POST API : https://xxx.atlassian.net/rest/api/latest/issue/TD-61/transitions?expand=transitions.fields

Body :

{

 "update": {},

 "transition": {

 "id": "761"

 },

 "fields": {

 "resolution": {

 "name": "Done"

 }

 }

}

Note : I am able to update transition status to "In Progress " and others but getting issue to resolve ticket only.
