As mentioned in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-relative-human-readable-time-works-for-date-time-field-in-jira-777012124.htmlthe calculation of relavite dates is confusing:
Assume it is 9:20 right now. Then JIRA would display a timestamp from yesterday
May questions:
1) I can see no good argument to calculate in such a confusing way.Does anyone else? (Or is it just stupid?)
2) Is there any way to change it, so that "days ago" are calculated from the beginning of the day (00:00)?
Hi confluence@ecogood.org
Have you try this link https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/display-standard-dates-in-jira-server-414187622.html which is mentioned at the bottom of the page you shared?
Hi Alex,
no, i did not deactivate the whole feature.
In general the relativation is a very good idea. And i do not want to skip it completely for a corner case issue.
I think, it is better to improve the feature. So is there any option to do so?
Or would a feature request at atlassian be required, which would lay around for 10 years and then be closed for lack of votings?
Best regards, Michael
