Automation copy version from epic parent to childs

Hello,

I'm a bit new to automation on JIRA. I can't seem to make it work.

I want to :

- When I edit a field

- Type of ticket is Epic

- For all the childs

- The field has the same value as the epic parent

When I edit the field it's not doing anything to the childs.

Any help would be appreciated.

a few questions.

Are the stories in the same project as the Epic?
Is the option "Only include issues that have changed since the last time this rule executed" active?
What information is in the rule's audit log after changing the version field in the Epic?
