Field Validation

Hello there i ve got once again a question:

Is it posible to validat a field so that the user is forced to name a story/ task a special way?

For example: A card should only named after BR-XXX and not BrXXX or BR_XXX. So the only way should be the first one.

Any ideas?

I belive you cannot mandate that way, You can just get the user to update the vlaues XXXX and then append with your standard format using simple groovy

Else you can write groovy to validate if the format given is correct

So if i got it right i have to use a plugin to validate fields?
