How to map Discussions in Align and Comments in JIRA

Question

Recently we discovered that the Discussions that happen in Align, do not map down to JIRA and vice versa.  The comments left in JIRA are not shown in Align.  Is there a configuration that needs to be set up in order for these items to flow back and forth?  Or some way to have commenting update in both places?  This is absolutely crucial for Feature updates and clarifying discussions at the Portfolio and Feature levels.  thanks!

We are your customers at Merck & Co. and this product gap is creating inefficiencies for our Product Teams who have to manually copy comments and discussion posts across the 2 tools. This is not a sustainable process to carry out and you should really look into enabling that integration or this could result in user adoption issues going forward.

@Jayme Burkhalter You are not missing anything here. The integration does not have the option to sync discussions/comments between Jira and Jira Align.
