I am working to create a Dashboard in Confluence which use the default "Chart" macro. This macro requires a table with data in each cell:

However, to do this dynamically so that the chart is always up to date when someone lands on the confluence page, I need to query Jira for and return an number (of issues) that match my Jira query that the Chart Macro widget can use to create the chart dynamically.
I have tried to use the Jira Issue Filter Macro but that return the number with "issues" after it which the Chart Macro can't use.

Can this be done?
