Popup when Session Timeout is near

Question

Hi,

due to security reasons we had to shorten the timeout.

I'd like to inform the user 5 minutes before the session timeout occurs with a popup or a banner.

I checked if there is a sample e.g. for script runner, but haven't found anything so far.

plugin can access any scope in Jira, scriptrunner not, plugin is both client and server and you decide how to implement what you need.

What interfaces could be leveraged from a plugin that are not available on scriptrunner?

Isn't this a client side use case (scriptrunner), rather than a server side issue (plugin scope)?

I don't know a way to do that with scriptruuner.

But if you know/can, write yourself your own jira plugin will be easier
