I use Xray for JIRA Jenkins Plugin to upload test results to Jira  as a post-build action

Console output in Jenkins provides error below:

XRay result import task Format: Cucumber XML

Based on similar issue report here, it appear custom field "issuetype" is missing. Could you please advice and confirm the following.

1. Is this different from JIRA field "issue type"

2. to which issue type (test or test execution) should this custom field be added.

Hi @Devanath Kaliaperumal 

The most common cause for this kind of error happens when the user that uploads the information from Jenkins cannot view the field.

In the cases, this either happens because is it missing from the screens, it is hidden or the user does not have enough permissions to view it.

By default, it should be the Jira's issuetype, unless someone was able to create a custom field with the same name.

The issue type is necessary for both Test and Test Execution.
