Filtered Report by Month

Question

Here is a fun request:

I am trying to create an alert that allows for me to send an email of all users we have in the system and what tickets they created and quantity by month and project.

The design would be such as the screenshot but:

Employee Name Down Left

Month and year across the top (I would want two graphs, one of the entire year and one of the quarter)

How many tickets per month of project (IDEA) submitted

How many total to the far right per employee

How many total to the bottom per month

Programs I have: Powerscripts, Project Automation

This is a long term need. We have processes that this feeds into which work towards bonuses. Essentially determining if the team members are participating each month per the incentive program.

First thing, I do not believe there are any out-of-the-box reports to do this.

Is "determine participation" a short-term or a long-term need to help address this situation?  Or put another way, is this something which recently was noticed as a problem?

If this is a short-term situation, I suggest using data exports and create reporting in a spreadsheet tool, or use the REST API or webhooks to get the data into another reporting tool.  Then once the problem is addressed, focus on the next challenge/opportunity to improve upon and perhaps stop measuring this item.

If participation measurement is a long-term need, you may want to investigate reporting addon products from the marketplace.  However, I respectfully suggest discussing such long-term measures with the teams, their leaders, and coaches.  Helping people understand the goals and desired behaviors using such measures may provide more sustainable benefits.

Hi Bill,

Our team uses the above metrics to determine participation. Currently, they are doing this manually, but by doing this we are able to see all results as we need them and quickly.
