Hello together.
our audit department just wants to haven a reading authorisation in our ServiceDesk.
Is there any option without wating a license to them?
Thanks for helping me
greetings
Heiko
Does "without licensing" mean that you don't want to create Jira user account for them?
If so, then email them the tickets periodically.
Thanks for your answer.
They all di have an account in our system.
But tey are just customers, without access to ServiceDesk.
They want to read all information in a Ticket so i do have to send them a lot of E-Mails by using your suggestion.
Hi @Heiko Schmidt
assuming you have also applied a Jira Core or Jira Software license you could grant them access to Jira Service Management to browse the issues in it - without the need of assigning a Jira Service Management license so them.
However, it IS needed to assign a license - alternative would only be to keep the current status (or sending mails like Aron said).
There has been a dicussion on this topic in more detail, please check in case you are interested in learning more.
